it wll be a week tomoorrow since my surgery
here are some questions
what really am i allowed to eat right now- ( should eat right now)
yesterday i got soooo hungry i could eat a cow ( at lest felt like it)
what will it be like after my first fill

My surgery was a week ago today!!! I feel like I am doing well but not sure what Dr. will say tomorrow. I haven't been hungry but was having a hard time getting enough water in until I srated drinking water not sipping. I hope that will be ok. Nothing but liquids for me for a month. even the full liquids are getting blah! Nothing has bothered me, not a minutes problem with my stomach. I have had a pain in my left side , not sure if its a pulled muscle orpart of surgery. Its nothing unbearable. The worst pain for me has been what my Dr. says is a bruised nerve in my groin where my filter was placed. It is subsiding too :) I also have devolped a severe rash in the female region,not yeast but,very painful.
I too am wondering what it will feel like with a fill cause I don't feel any resrtiction now-but-then again I haven't put anythig in my pouch to test it!! I guess only time will tell. Lets enjoy his journeyhuh?

but wanted to leave you a response here,,,,
In the first few weeks protein and water are the key to survival....
What I did was ( and remeber I am anal about following the rules)
was protein shake in the am.. water , water, protein, water, water, protein shake, water, water,, etc
I loved the protein shakes, so I didnt do bad.. I also did chicken noodles soup drained,, then fed my daughter the noodles, campbells cups of soup strained,, I dont do broth, i think its GROSS, so I bought the campbells and did those...
Remeber that you are on liquids to let your tummy recover from surgery.. So try your hardest to follow the rules... try hot tea, hot cocoa with protein powder... mix with a lil cold water first then add your warm water... there are lots of ways you can get your protein in. I mix protein powder in my yogurt to give it more protein too.
